Paid hours are at $6.75/hour* to $7.25/hour* for those who complete the season. We are located in the rolling hills of the Susquehanna Valley in Pennsylvania. Amish farms, antique dealers, Little League Museum, Penn State University and much more are only a short drive away. A busy shopping district with a Mall, K-Mart, Wal Mart, etc is only 3 miles away.

2008 POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

(we will be hiring more than one of most positions described below)

#1 Housekeeping (a couple working together): Position involves making park models ready for occupancy between rentals and taking care of bathhouses on your shift. Offers the opportunity for husband and wife to work together with the same exact hours. Housekeeping positions are paid at $7.25/hour.

#2 Arts & Crafts Coordinator: Position involves organizing arts and crafts projects, including ceramics and small crafts. Creativity and ability to relate to all ages from 4 to 14 is a must .

#3 Campground Store: Position involves answering phone, taking reservations, selling merchandise and groceries, cleaning, answering customer questions, checking guests in and out, etc.

#4 Systems Maintenance: Position helps maintain and improve park systems. Position requires some knowledge of electrical and plumbing. Person must feel comfortable repairing or replacing wiring, breakers, plumbing, and cable TV components. Position will occasionally involve some carpentry, minor maintenance on golf carts, mowing grass, etc.

#5 Grounds Maintenance: Position helps with park maintenance. Mowing grass, building picnic tables, other carpentry projects, oil changes of golf carts, etc.

#6 Bike/Boat House: Position involves renting bikes, paddle boats, golf carts and bumper boats to customers. Maintaining and repairing rental equipment. Grounds maintenance around bike/boat house.

#7 Snack Bar: Must like to cook. Prior experience in short order cooking and food prep a plus. Snack bar includes breakfast items, light lunch, snacks, ice cream and sundries. Position also includes cash handling experience.

#8 Swimming Pool Maintenance: Responsible to keep daily records and to maintain cleanliness of swimming pool and hot tub.
